What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural, yet altered state, similar to meditation that relaxes the critical factor of the mind. This allows the client to communicate with their subconscious and conscious mind at the same time. By tapping into this inner intelligence the client has more knowledge and creativity to resolve issues or reach goals. Hypnosis has been used for thousands of years by many cultures for healing and creativity. Mozart was in a state of hypnosis when he wrote the famous opera Cosi fan tutte. In fact, Emerson, Einstein, Edison and many others great contributors to our civilization used the hypnotic state to access their inner creative intelligence.
Do I remember what happened while in hypnosis?
Yes, you remember everything because hypnosis is not sleep. You are never unconscious. Your conscious mind is present, plus you are in touch with the subconscious (dual mind), so you are actually more present. You are in an extraordinary state of mental, physical and emotional relaxation, which makes you more responsive to suggestions or direction. You hear and remember everything that happens during the session. You are in total control of your experience.
Has anyone every got "stuck" in hypnosis?
No. It is impossible to get stuck in hypnosis. Because hypnosis is a natural state of mind you will always come back to full awareness of the external world.
